Free Fence Quotes
Every yard, every pasture, every commercial perimeter is a little different. So every quote we give is custom — and free. Here’s how we figure a fair price.
Why We Don’t Publish a Price List
Fence pricing depends on too many things for a flat per-foot rate to be honest. Material, height, gate count, terrain, access, ground conditions, hidden obstacles — all of it moves the number. A 100 ft cedar privacy on flat clean ground prices very differently from 100 ft of the same fence stepped down a hill with rock-anchored corners.
So we do the next-best thing: we walk the line with you, recommend the right material and approach, and give you a written quote. Free, no obligation, no pressure.
What Affects the Price
- Material — chain link is the most affordable; cedar privacy mid-range; vinyl and aluminum higher; ornamental iron highest
- Height — 6 ft costs noticeably more than 4 ft; 8 ft more again
- Linear footage — per-foot rates come down on bigger jobs
- Gate count and size — gates are 3–5x the per-foot rate of straight fence
- Terrain — flat ground is fastest; side slopes, ditches, creek crossings slow things down
- Ground conditions — sandy or loamy soil is easy; rocky or hardpan needs rock-anchored corners or different post setting
- Access — can a truck and trailer get to the work area, do gates need widening for our equipment
- Permits — in-town jobs that need permits have a small permitting cost
- Removal of existing fence — if we’re replacing, removal and disposal is a line item
What to Expect From a Quote
- You call or message us. Tell us the rough property location, what you want to fence, and roughly how much.
- We walk it (or look at photos). For nearby jobs, a property walk is fastest. For absentee owners or rough jobs, clear photos plus measurements plus a sat-view link work.
- We recommend a material and approach. Sometimes we’ll suggest something different from what you asked for if it’ll save money or last longer.
- We give a written quote. Material, linear footage, height, gates, layout, removal (if applicable), and total — itemized.
- You decide. No pressure either way.
- We schedule the install. Typically 2–4 weeks out from approval.
How We Handle Payment
For typical residential jobs, half at scheduling and the balance on completion. For repair work and small jobs, payment on completion. Commercial accounts run on net-30 invoicing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
Commercial & Recurring Accounts
For property managers, banks, utility companies, schools, churches, HOAs, and local government, we set up annual contracts with master pricing and scope of work. Here’s our commercial services page.
